Dr David Ryves, Dr Jeff Evans and Amy Gray have successfully secured funding worth £12,000 from EU-Interact, to carry out fieldwork in the Artic this summer.
The project will focus on the glacial history and the impacts on lacustrine ecology, geophysical systems and pollutants in the high Arctic. They will be focusing on ice-contact, ice-distal and isolated lakes around the Kongsfjorden catchment, Svalbard.
