The 2023/24 arts scholars performances will feature a variety of live music, dance, art and readings.
This year's music and arts scholarship winners come from a range of subject areas and backgrounds with a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Their art forms include creative writing, music, dance and drama.
The Arts Scholars' Showcase will take place on 7 May, 5pm-7pm in Martin Hall Theatre. The event is free and open to all,
Each of the arts scholars has received financial support to help them develop their practice over the course of the year and this is a wonderful opportunity to witness the hard work they have put in. The concert is always a fantastic celebration of our students' talent and creativity and will feature short pieces from their repertoire.
Refreshments will be served in the Martin Hall foyer from 5pm-5.30pm, with the performance starting at 5.30pm. Photography, animation and ceramics wok by the three visual arts scholars will be on display in the foyer with the scholars on hand to answer any questions about their work.
