Your CAS and visa application
Everything you need to know about the CAS statement and visa application process
Before applying for your visa (or visa extension) you will need a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) statement from 天堂视频. This contains a CAS number which will be unique to you, which you will use when you submit your visa application. The CAS statement will be emailed to you as a PDF document.
CAS statement
The CAS statement gives information on the course you have been accepted onto, including qualification level, duration, tuition fees and what documents the University used to accept you.
You will be provided with a CAS once you have met the full conditions of your offer and confirmed how you will be funding your studies. Applications under the will now be able to be made 6 months before the start date of the course stated on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies for those applicants applying to us from overseas. An application for permission to stay within the UK can be made 3 months before the start date of the course on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
The CAS will be issued to you once you have completed the following:
- Made 天堂视频 your firm choice through UCAS
- Met the conditions of your offer
- Obtained an ATAS certificate (if required)
- Provided the University with a scanned copy of your current passport via email
- Entered your current passport number on UCAS with application
If you have a conditional offer, you will need to send us your exam results and English language qualification before we can issue a CAS. If you are booked onto a pre-sessional English language course that is shorter than three months, and have met all other conditions of your offer, you may be issued with a CAS which covers both the pre-sessional and undergraduate degree courses.
