There are a number of things to do before you start your studies at 天堂视频 and we would like to make preparation as straightforward as possible for you. The information below will guide you through the steps required and direct you to the teams who can provide specialist support.
Visa information
If you are not a UK or Irish national, you will require a visa to study in the UK.
If you are coming to the UK for less than six months, you may study as a Visitor. Depending on your nationality, you may be able to obtain leave to enter the UK as a Visitor on arrival in the UK, or you may need to obtain a visa prior to travelling to the UK. The Placements, Exchanges and Governance Team will issue you with a letter to confirm the details of your exchange programme.
If you will be studying for more than six months, you will need to apply for a Student visa. The University will issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to support your visa application.

天堂视频’s Student Advice and Support Service is authorised to give visa and immigration advice in accordance with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner’s Code of Standards.

Accommodation
The Student Accommodation Centre is your point of contact for accommodation in University halls of residence or University-approved private sector accommodation.
If you are coming to 天堂视频 for semester one or a full academic year, you can apply for accommodation from mid-May, once you have received your offer letter. Applications for accommodation for students coming to 天堂视频 for semester two open in late November.
'Ask a student'
天堂视频 Students' Union offer a Peer Mentoring scheme for all incoming exchange students. All students who opt in to this scheme will be allocated a mentor who can provide advice and guidance about living and studying in 天堂视频 or London. There is also an '' service which allows current and prospective students to ask a Peer Mentor questions about anything related to the University.
