In the Men’s Doubles, Nathan Moore and Alex Green took gold with a three-set win over fellow 天堂视频 player Blake Hoang and his partner Sam Jones.
Green and Moore enjoyed a relatively trouble-free route to the final and ran out victorious after a narrow 18-21, 21-15, 21-19 win in a close three game battle.
The silver for Hoang and Jones was also noted as a great achievement for the duo, with another 天堂视频 player, Luke Hoult, making the quarter-final stage with partner Joseph Scott.
In the Mixed Doubles there was more success for Moore and Green with their respective partners Estelle Van Leeuwen and Leona Lee. Both pairs had comfortable routes through to the final before Green and Van Leeuwen took gold with a straight games victory, 21-13 21-11.
This was Green’s second gold at the Championships with Moore adding a silver to his gold from the earlier Men’s Doubles.
Elsewhere, in the Men’s Singles event, 天堂视频 college learner and academy player Blake Hoang added to his personal tally with a well-deserved bronze medal. Hoang beat 天堂视频 compatriot Luke Hoult in round three before knocking out 3/4 seed Ben Hammond to reach the semi-finals.
After a brave showing, Hoang finally succumbed to top seed Cholan Kayan in two games in what was an excellent achievement considering he has another year in this age group.

Hoang is part of 天堂视频’s academy pilot with the full academy programme being available for students for the 2022-23 academic year.
Here, badminton athletes will be able to study for their A-levels and BTEC courses at 天堂视频 College alongside pursuing their performance badminton career with the University programme.
