FREE Microsoft Office 365 for students

During your time at the University, you will have free access to the latest Microsoft Office packages. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and more:

  • Install on up to 5 compatible PCs, Macs, and Tablets
  • Use with OneDrive for automatic device syncing

Guidance for macOS

If you currently own Office for Mac 2016 or Office 365 for Mac, you will need to:

  • Make sure you have access to the original software and licence
  • Uninstall the current version
  • Download and install Office 365 for Mac through the Office 365 for 天堂视频 account

How to install

To install a copy of Microsoft Office 365, please follow the instructions below:

We advise that you remove any previous versions of Microsoft Office prior to installing Office 365.

  1. Ensure you are logged out from your account or else open private browser
  2. Browse to the office portal at https://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx using the link below
  3. Provide the credential when prompted. This will be your 天堂视频 username and password entered in the following format abcd4@lunet.lboro.ac.uk
  4. Under the Office section, select the language and version
  5. Select Install Office
