Background
Robert studied for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sussex graduating in 2015. After graduation, he worked for Ricardo PLC (engineering consultancy) for 5 years as a Development Engineer mainly in the area of small-scale internal combustion engines (ICEs). He returned to academia in 2021 to study for an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology at 天堂视频 and conducted a masters project investigating the effects of using tantalum as a dopant for tin dioxide to create high mobility transparent conducting oxide films (TCOs) for thin film solar cell application. Now studying for a PhD at 天堂视频 mainly focusing on improving CdTe solar cell efficiencies through optimised automated manufacturing techniques.
