Background

Joyce did her undergraduate degree at Mzuzu University in Malawi, graduating with a BSc in Renewable Energy Technologies (First Class) in August 2015. She also has an MSc in Electrical Engineering (4.0 GPA) focusing in Energy and Power from Oklahoma State University in the United States, obtained in December 2018, under Fulbright and International Peace Scholarships. She worked in the sugar industry before joining the academia. She is currently working with the Malawi University of Science and Technology as a Lecturer in Energy Sciences since December 2016.
