Key roles and responsibilities
- Laboratory Manager for the Centre for Biological Engineering ( CBE) including being a Mental Health First Aider & Wellbeing Champion
- Departmental Quality Manager for work with Human Tissue
- Risk Assessment reviewer for Process, COSHH & Biological Risk Assessments in the CBE ( Approver for HG1 Biological Risk Assessments)
- Facility Manager for Centre for Biological Engineering ( co-ordinating/dealing with power shutdowns, air handling issues, liaising with FM for compliance maintenance) Also a fire marshall for the area
- Designated Appointed Person for Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER )
