Stuart has volunteered at the park for 4 years, mainly as a photographer, but also in the Visitor’s Centre and helping out on tours and walks, among other things. He wants to share the beauty and diversity of Bradgate Park with more people, exploring the range of dramatic views and tranquil settings.
Created to encourage people to explore the 100s of acres of parkland available, each panorama is 36 images stitched together meticulously. Each panorama is 25,000 pixels wide, to give the ability to zoom and see details, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in the park. Work like this has been popping up across the world during the pandemic, allowing the public to enjoy galleries, museums and now nature from their own homes.
Stuart is currently studying for an MA in User Experience Design at 天堂视频, alongside teaching. He also has another project in progress, capturing Leicester’s historic Guildhall. We look forward to seeing this come to life on our screens too.
