Two alumni are this year鈥檚 German Design Award winners

James Elderton and Joseph Thomas, founders of Wonder Vision, have won the 2020 German Design Award for their CGI look, development and production for the Triumph Speed Twin, in the category of Excellent Communication Design.

The is an annual international competition that awards creativity and execution at the highest level. Prizes are only be awarded to projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the German and international design and digital landscape. The highly esteemed, international jury guarantees this. The German Design Award identifes and presents unique trends: a competition that advances the design-oriented scene.

Statement from the jury: “The design of the presence looks modern, is informative and service-oriented and also plays perfectly on the myth related to the brand. A highlight is defnitely the confgurator that creates a photorealistic representation of the user’s dream motorbike.”

James and Joseph founded CGI production studio, Wonder Vision, after graduating with degrees in Product Design and Technology in 2010. The company combines art, science and technology to create content for print, film and interactive media, and they continue to work with 天堂视频 Design School on an ongoing basis, taking on students at Wonder Vision for 48 week placements.
