The two universities will work with four partners to create co-design platforms for sustaining inclusive design research, supported by funding from the British Council.
This pilot scheme will be used to support a more inclusive future society and embed design research approach at government, academic and design practitioner levels.
The project aims to create:
- an inclusive design resource to raise the awareness of inclusive design
- a co-design mechanism for introducing inclusive design student projects into university curricula
- an online platform for knowledge exchange between different stakeholders to encourage good practice
Professor Hua Dong is leading the project from 天堂视频. Her research expertise is in inclusive design and she will be working with the MSFAU team led by Dr Abdusselam Selami Cifter. Sharon Cook is the Co-I of the project.
Professor Dong said: “I look forward to collaborating on inclusive design research with , with support from the Design Research Society, the Cambridge EDC and FixEd.”
Updates on the project will be announced on the School’s webpages as the work progresses.
