Ttile of thesis: A sculptural exploration of the material and immaterial (current)
Since the dissipative effect of illusion on material quality (and form-space) in the sculptures is my current focus. I will analyse the extent to which illusion in sculptures can contribute to the dematerialisation of sculpture. And within this framework, it discusses the relationship between the illusion and the perception of the viewer. I will use the phenomenology of perception as the basis and emphasise the richer original understanding offered by perceptual experience.
