Dan holds a professional degree in Architecture, and she has extensive experience in both architectural practice and teaching. She has a specific interest in the social-spatial aspects of creativity, and developing the design process with a configurational theory in architecture and diagraming.
Dan's PhD focuses on the optimization of collective creativity through systematic spatial design and digital tools in educational institutions and organizations.
Thesis title: Optimization of Collective Creativity Through Systematic Spatial Design and Digital Tools in Educational Institutions and Organizations
Dan's Ph.D. research explores the possibilities of optimizing collective creativity through spatial design. The aim of her study is twofold. The first is to identify the underlying structure of spatial design and its impact on group creativity in educational institutions and organizations. The second is to improve the design process of creative spaces through a holistic approach stemming from social-spatial and interdisciplinary perspectives, supported by digital tools, such as extended reality and computer simulation.
