We are home to more than 30 doctoral students.
They are working on subject matters that reflect the Centre's diverse expertise in communication, media, interaction and cultural research. Our doctoral students play a full and active part in all of the research themes.
Examples of projects:
- Communicating as equals: Intersectionalism, feminism and non-dominating practice;
- The influence of populist parties in Europe on the rhetoric and discursive strategies of established political parties: Populist political communication going mainstream?
- Representations of career in the printed media over 30 years;
- A cultural-historical geography or Leonard Cheshire Disability: mapping media representations and communicative cultures of disabled people’s lives (1950-2015);
