Summary/Biography:

Daniel Southcott Engstrom studied applied physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) from where he graduated in 2003. After studying microelectronics for a year at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland he started a research masters at DTU Nanotech, studying electron-/hole- transport in crystalline organic nanowires. In 2010 Daniel was awarded his PhD from DTU after carrying out research in MEMS carbon nanotube integration both at DTU and at the University of Cambridge. From 2010 to 2015 Daniel was a post doc at Imperial College London, University College London and University of Oxford carrying out research on a variety of projects ranging from nanofluidic filters for HIV detection to additive manufacturing at the nanoscale. In 2015 Daniel took up the position as Lecturer in 3D printing at 天堂视频.
