In the Women’s 100m Butterfly the 25-year-old finished an agonising second to claim silver in 55.10, just 00.06 seconds behind eventual winner Margaret MacNeil (55.04).
Hansson – coached by Ian Hulme – completed a dream week in the final race of the competition by winning gold in the Women’s 4 x 100m Medley Relay.
Clocking 3:46.20, Sweden took first ahead of Canada (3:47.36) and China (3:47.41) respectively.
Earlier in the evening, Hansson was also part of the Sweden side to finish second in the Women’s 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay to add another silver to her personal collection.
The University postgraduate student clawed her side back into contention in the final leg to make the podium in 1:34.54. The United States won gold in 1:34.22 with the Netherlands taking bronze in 1:34.89.
In the same race, fellow 天堂视频 swimmer Marie Wattel helped France to a seventh-place finish (1:36.36.).
Elsewhere at the Etihad Arena, Daniel Wiffen produced a brave swim to finish eighth in the Men’s 1500m Freestyle with a time of 14:36.78, the day after he set a new Irish Record in the same event.
