is funded by the UK’s (FCDO) to support investment in sustainable energy and transport systems to meet development priorities in the Global South. It provides research and global public goods to help countries develop economic strategies, plans, and policies to attract investment into low-carbon growth opportunities across multiple sectors.
During COP26 Events focusing on clean energy, decarbonising transport, and sustainability. Taking place at Glasgow’s Strathclyde University and online from November 3 – 5, representatives from the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the World Bank Group, the Asian Development Bank, the FCDO, the International Energy Agency and many more high-profile organisations will be speaking.
Talking about the side events, CCG lead, Professor Mark Howells said: “These side events will provide an opportunity for CCG and its partners to shine a spotlight on the success of the programme so far, learn from best practice and discuss how we overcome the hurdles ahead. It will feature input from policy makers and senior officials from across the world.
