Robotics and Automation
Professor, Reader (Associate Professor), Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Robotics and Automation
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in鈥痑utomation and robotics, for industrial applications and with research focus in areas such as, but not limited to: collaborative human-machine systems, soft robotics, sensing and perception, mechatronic systems, artificial intelligence, and/or adaptive control and autonomous systems.
Research themes that address the increasing need for more adaptive and agile automation and robotic solutions in a clear industrial context would be particularly attractive.
Electromagnetic Systems For Defence
Professor, Reader (Associate Professor), Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Electromagnetic Systems For Defence
We are seeking to recruit a candidate with the ability to gain UK security clearance who can initially contribute to the and establish/develop an independent and recognised research portfolio in Electromagnetic Systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving collaborative research community based at 天堂视频 with a network across the UK.
You can contribute to our team in one or more of the following areas: antennas, microwave theory and techniques, radiofrequency circuits/devices, radar, radio spectrum monitoring, pulsed power/directed energy, mmWave and high frequency electromagnetics.
We would also welcome candidates offering expertise at the cyber/EM interface, signal processing, and those with relevant defence science and technology experience. The opportunity also comes complete with a UK PhD studentship which is attached to the advertised area and the possibility of a partial research fellowship for the candidate (subject to agreement of the sponsor).
