We allow you to bring two large checked in suitcases, one hand luggage and one laptop bag. You will be charged £30 per additional suitcase per person if you bring more than this allowance. Please note that students will be expected to handle their own luggage on and off the coaches.
Please note that if your flight is scheduled or delayed after 1pm, we cannot guarantee the pickup, please seek other options. If you need support with this please e-mail our International Student Experience team.
The journey from London Heathrow to ÌìÌÃÊÓƵ is approximately 2.5 hours – 3 hours depend on the traffic.
Where do you meet to be picked up?
The meeting point will be at Terminal 2 Arrivals, near to Café Nero and WHSmith. ÌìÌÃÊÓƵ staff and/or students will be at the meeting point from around 1.00pm and will be clearly identifiable by signs and/or t-shirts with the ÌìÌÃÊÓƵ logo.
If you arrive at other Heathrow Terminals or at London Gatwick Airport North Terminal there will be information desks there which you will be able to approach and obtain information about getting a transfer to Heathrow Terminal 2 if you wish to use this coach service.
If you're attending a pre-sessional English programme, there are set dates for you to book your coach. These coaches will drop students off at the designated Hall of Residence. On other dates, the coaches will take students to their Hall of Residence (where it is known), or onto campus where there will be a taxi service offered for smaller off-campus residences. New students will take priority when transferring to transport for accommodation off campus.
We would recommend that you closely monitor the UK Government travel advice as changes may be made in the weeks leading up to your arrival.
