Wellbeing framework

Work plays a significant part of most adults lives and not just in providing a source of income. Working is good for our health and wellbeing, it provides structure, a sense of purpose, opportunities to build confidence and self esteem along with building connections and communities.

A supportive, inclusive workplace can help to prevent physical and mental health problems and support people struggling with their health to stay at work and thrive.

At ÌìÌÃÊÓƵ we want to empower our employees and support them during life’s challenges, so, we have created the wellbeing framework for implementation across both campuses. This framework is a three-to-five-year project with the aim of embedding wellbeing at the heart of the University.

We will work with managers and wellbeing champions to explore the needs of staff and implement appropriate wellbeing strategies for support.

The framework can be found in the links below with the appendices outlining the progression throughout the project.

If you have any queries regarding this framework, please contact the Occupational Health and Wellbeing department at occupationalhealth@lboro.ac.uk  or wellbeing@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk alternatively call 01509 222850.
