Together
This project seeks to build a culture within RIO that instils belonging, wellbeing and empowerment - through the utilisation of our strengths - to create an environment that makes us proud of where we work.
Project aim
To improve how it feels to work in the Research and Innovation Office, focusing on culture and improving our sense of belonging and well-being as well as reducing silo-working between RIO teams.
Scope and workstreams
The project will focus on three key areas:
- Belonging - Developing a community within RIO where staff know and care about each other, breaking down silos and sharing knowledge and experience
- Empowerment - Creating an environment of empowerment where staff are engaged and feel able to effect positive change within their roles, the directorate and the wider University
- Wellbeing - Establishing a positive working culture aligned with the University values which supports morale, wellbeing and pride in our work
