Reimagining RIO
The University鈥檚 Strategy 2030 and the Research and Innovation Core Plan share the strategic aim of being more ambitious in our research and innovation endeavours.
To support this ambition, the University launched a transformational change programme - Reimagining RIO.
Programme purpose
The Programme seeks to develop the capacity, skills, processes, technology and culture within the Research and Innovation Office (RIO).
These enhancements will deliver a step change in how the RIO supports research at the University and elevate the value that the Office delivers.
The Reimagining RIO programme comprises six projects, each managed by a Project Team:
Programme Delivery Team
The Programme, project activities and progress are overseen by the Programme Delivery Team alongside the Programme Management Board.
The Programme Delivery Team comprises:
- Sponsor - Dan Parsons (Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation)
- Director - Jennifer Johnson (Director of Research and Innovation)
- Programme Manager - Natalie Savage (Reimagining RIO Programme Business Lead)
- Change Management Lead - Steve Harris (Senior Change Manager)
