Finalists of 天堂视频's Three Minute Thesis competition revealed

Nine doctoral researchers will be competing for first place in the 2023 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition final next Wednesday (28 June).

Developed by the University of Queensland, Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an exciting research communication competition where doctoral researchers pitch themselves against the clock to communicate the impact of their research in just three minutes.

Over the last few months, each School held their own 3MT® competition and the following 9 winners will be competing against each other for first place at the University’s 3MT® Final next Wednesday (28 June):

The judging panel has been assembled and is preparing to carry out the difficult task of choosing the ultimate winner. This year’s judging panel is:

The 3MT® Final forms part of the Doctoral College’s Summer Showcase, a fun, half-day (9:30am – 1:30pm) event that brings doctoral researchers together from across the University to share their work and network in a vibrant and supportive environment.

As well as the 3MT® Final, this year’s Summer Showcase will include a poster exhibition, a creative research gallery, an interactive exhibition, and a free networking lunch (for those who register to attend in-person).
