In the last 22 years, since Edgar Ette first launched this challenge, 55 people have completed it. It involves running 87 miles from London to Dover, 21 miles swimming across the English Channel, and cycling 180 miles to Paris.
Paul is inspired by the remarkable courage of Sam Perkins, a fellow triathlon enthusiast who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) at the age of 37. Recognising the devastating impact of MND on Sam, his loved ones and others, Paul has dedicated himself to raising funds and awareness for MND research and care.
"This is more than just a sporting event," Paul explains. "It's an adventure filled with uncertainties, but also with the promise of hope and resilience.”
Through this monumental challenge, Paul will inspire others and make a difference in the world.
